Draft 2017/18 Budget / Business Plan

The Annual Budget / Business Plan (Plan) outlines the proposed projects and activities to be undertaken in the coming financial year. The Plan also discloses the key elements of Council’s Rating Policy and outlines the estimated impact that rates will have on individual properties.

The Plan also incorporates the annual review of Council’s Long Term Financial Plan, the forward estimates of which are based on various financial forecasts and assumptions and identified funding requirements outlined in Council’s Long Term Capital Works Program. Council welcomes public feedback on the proposed Plan. All submissions and feedback will be considered before the final Plan is adopted at the 27 June 2017 Council meeting.

Comments must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 31 May 2017.

Alternatively, verbal representations can be made at a public meeting to be held on Wednesday 7 June 2017 at the Town of Gawler Administration Centre, 43 High Street, Gawler East at 7pm.
