Volunteering in the Community

Then volunteering is for you!

The Gawler Volunteer Resource Centre provides information and support to volunteers, volunteer coordinators and volunteer organisations to assist them to deliver their programs and activities for the benefit of the Gawler community.

For Volunteers: We provide a pre-screening referral service, where we can help you find rewarding and enjoyable volunteering placements to suit you. We also offer a variety of training opportunities and other resources and support to assist you in your volunteering role. click here for more information

For Volunteer Organisations: We can help you recruit and screen new volunteers to fill vacancies within your organisation, coordinate training opportunities for your volunteers and coordinators, as well as provide support and information on a variety of topics related to volunteer management and the volunteering sector in general. click here for more information

The Gawler VRC is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 5pm – out of hours appointments are available.
We are located at the Evanston Gardens Community Centre at 65 Angle Vale Road, Evanston Gardens.
