Numbers in 2009/10are lowmainly due to the drought.
The2010/11was the start of the revegetation project around the river corridors.
Thehigh planting numbers of trees, shrubs, ground covers andgrasses in
2011/12 (approximately 14,600) is due tomoney from grants for UrbanRivers
BiodiversityProject along thewalking trail.
TheTown of Gawler continues to develop and enhance its biodiversitywith various
plantings in the areas of streetscape, walking trails and river corridors.
