Statutory Information
This InformationStatement is published by theTown of Gawler
in accordancewith the requirements of Part 2 of Section9 of the
Freedomof InformationAct, 1991.
TheTown of Gawler is pleased to complywith the legislation and
welcomes enquiries from thepublic for information.
An updated InformationStatement will be placed inCouncil’s
Annual Report and onCouncil’swebsite every 12months.
This InformationStatement is reflectiveof Council’s
administration as at 30 June, 2014.

Ordinarymeetings of theCouncil are held on the fourth
Tuesday of eachmonth commencing at 7pm. Meetings are
held in theTownHall Council Chamber, 89MurrayStreet,
Gawler. Special meetings are called as required.
Meetings are open to the public. The publicwill only be
excludedwhen the need for confidentiality outweighs the
principle of open decisionmaking.

Any cancellations or additional meetings are advertisedby
public notice onCouncil’s public noticeboard in theTown

to themeeting. Minutes of meetings (excluding confidential
