The following are some examples of consultation
undertaken byCouncil:
(1) ReserveDevelopment - Local residentsmay be
consulted on the types of facilities and equipment during
the design of some reserves.
(2) DevelopmentApplications - Residents are notified
(where there is a legislative requirement to do so) of some
DevelopmentApplications.When an application is publicly
notified, residents have the opportunity both towrite to
Council expressing their view on the applicationand to
subsequently personally address theCouncil before a
decision ismade.
(3) Gawler Draft Traffic andTransport Management Plan.
(4) Resident Forums –Various forums are convened on an
‘as needed’ basis toenable residents to discuss proposals
that may affect themwith both theOfficers andCouncil
members.
