Gawler Youth Advisory Committee

The Gawler Youth Advisory Committee (GYAC) is an official Section 41 Committee of Council. The Committee meets on the first Monday of most months.

The GYAC is a forum for passionate young people who want to make a difference in the community, challenge themselves as leaders and be influential in local government decision making.

Join the GYAC and experience what it's like to learn, build and grow together to achieve positive outcomes for your community.

To be involved, you must be:

  • Aged 15 to 25 years, those aged 12-15 years will be considered to become Committee members following recommendation.
  • Live, work, study, play or volunteer in Town of Gawler
  • Be able to come to regular meetings and actively participate in the Committee
