London leading man Daniel Koek is thrilled to be back on home soil with his acclaimed West End Sessions, direct from the UK's West End to the Gawler Civic Centre! Featuring his dear pals Amelia Ryan & Michael Griffiths, it's a guaranteed night of laughs, candid stories, and stellar songs, bought to you by Australia's stars of theatre and cabaret.
After 12 months enduring a London lockdown, Daniel was ecstatic to be returning home to Australia to cover one of theatre's most esteemed roles: The Phantom of The Opera himself. But after recent devastating news of the Australian production being cancelled, Daniel dusted himself off, pulled the glad rags out of his suitcase, and speed dialled 2 of his fav pals; the mission, should they choose to accept it? Put on a show!
West End Sessions is an ever-evolving show of Daniel's own creation, where audiences share an intimate evening with some of the most renowned international stage stars of the West End, Broadway and beyond. It has become quite the brand with Daniel taking it to both Asia and Europe in recent years. Daniel is thrilled to be bringing it to Gawler, with acclaimed cabaret treasures Amelia Ryan and Michael Griffiths.

During the 2020 pandemic when theatres were forced to close their doors and live performance ceased, Daniel’s innovative nature inspired the creation of a livestreamed version of West End Sessions through his YouTube Channel. This provided theatre loving audiences an outlet as well as giving performers a digital stage to maintain their craft.
It also provided the opportunity to use the livestream shows as a means to raise money for charity with £10,000 raised in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. The artists performed from a covid safe location in London’s West End, livestreaming to musical theatre fans all over the world.
The Sessions have become so popular that Daniel has now been invited to bring the show to Italy as well as back to his hometown for the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
“West End Sessions Livestream began as a means to give hope to both performers and musical theatre audiences alike during one of the most challenging times the industry has had to live through. I’m so proud to see our fans embrace it in this way and now be able to take it around the world and share it with audiences in a live capacity again as we slowly emerge back into the physical limelight."
