Computers Wi-Fi Printing and Photocopying

The Gawler Public Library, with State Government support, provides free public internet access to the community via Public Access Computers and Wi-Fi.

Library Free Wi Fi

There are six public access computers available at the Evanston Gardens Library, and two at the Library at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre. All computers have internet access, word-processing and printing facilities. One computer at Evanston Gardens also has Local History Research resources.

Conditions apply to computer and Wi-Fi use, and charges are made for printing. You can view our Internet Access Conditions of Use here.

You must have a current Library Membership card to use the public computers, or provide valid ID for a temporary guest pass.

The public access computers can be booked in advance, however this is not a requirement, simply come in, find one not in use and login with your library barcode number and your PIN. Hint: your PIN is probably the last 4 numbers of your telephone number.

If you do wish to make a booking, you can do so by phoning the Evanston Gardens Library on (08) 8522 0123

The Gawler Public Library offers Free Wi-Fi to registered Public Library members, with a 1GB daily download limit. To gain access, all you need is a Library Membership Card and a Wi-Fi compatible device. Printing is not currently possible from wireless devices in the library.

Most Laptops and Mobile Devices are set up for wireless access, your device should automatically detect the Public-Library-RF network. Once your device has detected Public-Library-RF connect with the password: PublicLibrary (Capital P Capital L)

If you do not have a library card or password, please see the library staff and they will assist you.

Please be advised that use of the wireless system is conditional upon your agreement to the Public Libraries' Internet Policy, Terms and Conditions of Use which can be viewed here  PLSA Internet Policy 2010 Please note that you may use your library membership card at any participating public library in South Australia. Wireless Access Limits and times may vary between libraries. When accessing wireless from an alternate South Australian Public Library, wireless users will adopt the access limits and times of that library.

The Library has a coin operated colour photocopier
