How do I Enrol?
Gawler Aquatic Centre - Learn to Swim Enrolments Open - Tuesday 5 September 2023
The Gawler Aquatic Centre is excited to announce that enrolments for the 2023/2024 Learn to Swim Program will open Tuesday 5 September 10am both online and in person at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre.
The Gawler Aquatic Centre Learn to Swim Program, has some exciting new developments this season with the introduction of our web-based online enrolment platform. Therefore there will be a two different ways you can enrol and pay for Learn to Swim Lessons for the 2023/2024 Season:
Online Enrolment and Payment Via Direct Debit
- Our new web-based software program now allows families the option to access a fortnightly direct debit payment system, through enrolling online. Please note, there are transaction fees that will be incurred with this option of 2.2%. As an example of this, if your child does one lesson a week and the direct debit is fortnightly then transaction fees are charged on the amount of $38.00, therefore a transaction fee of $.84c will be added; totaling $38.84. Upon enrolling and when signing up for the direct debit option you will be charged two weeks’ worth of lessons.
In Person Enrolment and Payment Up Front
- Families will still be provided with the option to pay for their swimming lessons up front, as per previous years. With a $38.00 deposit upon enrolling and then the remainder of the balance settled on the day of the students first lesson, via cash or eftpos. For this option there will be no transactions charge for the consumer.
PerfectMind Online Account
For our previous Learn to Swim Families we have already taken the liberty of creating a online account for your already, you should have received a email from communication@xplorrecreation.com with your own login details to activate you account.
If you are new to our Learn to Swim Program and want to create an online account please visit PerfectMind - Online Portal and click 'sign up" to create your own account. If you have any issues creating of accessing your account please contact the Learn to Swim Team via email learntoswim@gawler.sa.gov.au for assistance.

How to Enrol into the Learn to Swim Program
To enrol into our Learn to Swim Program, please complete a copy of our Learn to Swim Enrolment Form. If you wish to submit a Sports Voucher, please complete a copy of the 2023 Sports Voucher.
Please then email your completed Enrolment Form to learntoswim@gawler.sa.gov.au. Once we have received a copy of your completed Enrolment form a member of our Learn to Swim team will be in contact to confirm you Enrolment.
