This course is subject to minimum numbers. If they are not achieved full refunds will be issued.
About this Event:
The Level 1 Basics Barista Course starts at the beginning and covers everything including a brief history and appreciation of coffee, operating the coffee machine and grinder, all the techniques to extract the perfect espresso and prepare the full coffee menu.
Once you have learned all of the basics we end the day with cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine.

Gawler Youth space - Civic Centre
Age:
- This course is for all ages
- Young people must live or be enrolled in a school within the Town of Gawler Council area or part of the Light Council.
How to register:
You need to register for each session you wish to attend HERE.
Cost:
12-25 years of age: $300 for Town of Gawler Council residents ($95 subsidy, usually $395)
Over 25 years of age: $395
What you get for the price:
An optional 20 hours of work experience in a cafe is included as part of the course to help develop your skills and ultimately get a job in the hospitality industry.
