Home Maintenance Services
Minor Home Maintenance and Repairs focuses on helping with tasks that an older person may no longer be able to do and ensuring that the home remains safe.
Services may include:
- Window cleaning
- Gutter cleaning (only what can be reached with a ladder)
- Installation of smoke detector units
- Replacement of smoke detector batteries and light globes
- Tap and tap washer replacement
- Fixing or replacing locks
- Minor carpentry work
- Heights related cleaning (requiring a ladder)
We can usually determine over the phone, if we are able to assist with your maintenance request.
Please note that Home Maintenance services requires a referral from My Aged Care. Home Maintenance services (including any gardening) are capped at a maximum of 12 hours per eligible household per financial year.
