Home Visiting Service

The Gawler Public Library offers a monthly delivery service for people living in the Council area who are unable to leave their home & have nobody that can visit the library for them.

Committed to inclusivity, trained staff deliver a personalised selection of books, audiobooks, DVDs and more directly to patrons' homes within the Gawler. This service fosters a sense of community and connection by bringing the joy of reading and entertainment to those who may feel isolated. With a focus on accessibility and empathy, the Home Visiting Service enriches lives and promotes lifelong learning.

Those eligible include but are not limited to:

  • Elderly residents
  • Those with a disability
  • Recovering from injury

Please note that eligibility criteria apply.
