Citizenship Ceremonies
The Town of Gawler conducts conferral ceremonies for approved Australian Citizenship applicants residing in the council area.
Ceremonies are arranged when the Council is advised by the Department of Home Affairs that there are applicants available for conferral in the council area. The Town of Gawler also holds two public Citizenship Ceremonies each year, on Australia Day (26 January) and Citizenship Day (17 September).
Queries about citizenship applications, citizenship ceremonies and citizenship certificates can be addressed to the Department of Home Affairs by phone to 131 881.
