The Town of Gawler is developing a Council wide Biodiversity Management Plan to provide strategic guidance in managing biodiversity assets. This has included identifying areas of high priority for revegetation action, threats to existing biodiversity assets and opportunities for future biodiversity enhancement.
The Town of Gawler is seeking input from the community and stakeholders in Gawler on the Draft Biodiversity Management Plan. The Draft Biodiversity Management Plan is available for download via Liquidfiles here.
A Community Engagement Workshop is being held at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre, 7 Nixon Terrace Gawler, on Wednesday 12 June from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. This Workshop will include a presentation from Council’s appointed consultants Greening Australia outlining the Draft Biodiversity Management Plan that has been developed from investigations and community input to date.
