Community Consultation - Gawler and Surrounds Stormwater Management Plan
The Town of Gawler has commissioned the development of a Gawler and Surrounds Stormwater Management Plan in collaboration with project partners the Light Regional Council, The Barossa Council, Natural Resources Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges and the Stormwater Management Authority. The Plan outlines objectives for guiding the future management of stormwater within the study area of catchments relating to flood mitigation measures, water quality, water reuse opportunities, asset management and environmental protection and enhancement.
The Town of Gawler is inviting further feedback on the Draft Gawler and Surrounds Stormwater Management Plan which is now available for download below.
Community Consultation is now being undertaken with the broader communities in the Town of Gawler, the Light Regional Council and The Barossa Council following initial consultation with key stakeholders and Council members. The Draft Gawler and Surrounds Stormwater Management Plan, Study Area map and Feedback Form can be viewed and downloaded below.
Community consultation is being undertaken from 28 August 2019 through to 27 September 2019. Your feedback is welcome before the closing date of consultation through submitting a completed feedback form to the Town of Gawler via any of the following methods:

Community members are also invited to attend a Community Engagement Open-House Session facilitated by Council staff and consultants to provide feedback on the Draft Gawler and Surrounds Stormwater Management Plan.
This Community Engagement Open-House Session will be held at the Hewett Community Centre, 28 Kingfisher Drive, Hewett SA on Wednesday 4 September from 7pm to 9pm
