A new playground at Reid Reserve has been long anticipated by the local community and has now become a reality thanks to a generous $600,000 Community Infrastructure Grant from the South Australian Government. If driving, access and parking is via the top of Chignell Circuit, Reid.

Following two rounds of engagement with our residents, the final design was crafted based on the valuable feedback. Reid Reserve caters to all age groups, offering an array of exciting features. Among these are a thrilling seated flying fox, an exhilarating slippery dip, a shaded picnic area for leisurely gatherings, and a half-basketball court for sports enthusiasts.
Completed in July 2024 the new playground also features a toddler playspace.
