Australia Day
Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the people, places, communities and experiences that make Australia unique. Across the country, communities come together to recognise the contributions of individuals and groups and celebrate the diverse stories that shape our nation.
Each year, the Town of Gawler hosts an Australia Day breakfast at Apex Park, followed by a Citizenship Ceremony and presentation of the Australia Day Awards. The event provides an opportunity for the Gawler community to come together and welcome new Australian citizens, recognise local achievements and celebrate our community.
Details for the 2027 Australia Day event will be available once planning is confirmed.
