Pirrku is the Kaurna word for ‘story’. Located at the Evanston Gardens Library, the Pirrku Garden is a wonderful and creative outdoor space that is utilised for early childhood and family programs, events, and cultural learning opportunities.
The garden includes an array of native plants and natural elements, as well as Kaurna numbers signage that encourages children to find:

- Purlaityi (2) rocks
- Marnkutyi (3) logs
- Yarapurla (4) bushes
- Mila (5) grass clumps
