Come along to the 608 Squadron Freedom of Entry & Open Day!
No. 608 (Town of Gawler) Squadron, Australian Air Force Cadets, will be commemorating 70 years since the formation of the unit.
As part of the planned celebrations the unit will Exercise the Right of Freedom of Entry to the Town of Gawler commencing at 0930 Sunday 11th December 2022, followed by a Squadron Open Day for the local community.
A reception will be held at the No. 608 (Town of Gawler) Squadron premises, corner of Gawler River Road and Two Wells Road, Willaston.
This venue has been chosen to enable all invited dignitaries, guests, staff, parents and cadets to attend and celebrate this unique privilege in an ‘informal’ atmosphere. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Squadron Open Day will then commence to further allow the community to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of No. 608 (Town of Gawler) Squadron, including displays by Cadets.
