Have your say on the Community Plan 2030+ to ensure it remains consistent with community aspirations as we look to the year 2030 and beyond.

The Gawler Community Plan 2030+ is our community’s highest level strategic document and a reflection of our future aspirations for Gawler. It is an evolving and living document, used at all levels of the organisation and importantly informed by ongoing community engagement.

The Town of Gawler is now due to review its Community Plan 2030+ to ensure it remains consistent with community aspirations as we look to the year 2030 and beyond.

Gawler is a fast-growing and ever-changing regional centre. It is important to review and update the Community Plan to ensure strategic directions remain consistent with community needs and aspirations.

As part of this review process, Council will be undertaking a two phase consultation process. The preliminary phase seeks to gauge matters of importance with the local community as well as their thoughts about the existing Community Plan.

Stage 1 Discover of this consultation seeks feedback from the community regarding the draft Community Plan Vision, Mission, Pillars and Goals detailed within this survey. You are invited to complete this survey and share your thoughts and opinions that will contribute to the direction of our Town moving forward over the coming decade.

A second consultation process (Stage 2 Validate) will occur in 2024, seeking feedback and comments from the community about a new reviewed Community Plan, one that has been developed with consideration to the feedback provided in this survey and other feedback provided during the Stage 1 Discover consultation.

The Stage 1 consultation period will commence Wednesday 25 October and conclude Friday 15 December 2023.
