We want to hear from you about how we can use native sedges, reeds and grasses to help create a natural drainage area, that enhances local biodiversity and provides food and habitat for our beautiful wildlife. And also reduces those pesky weeds!
Chosen by our community, this participatory budget bid was successful in receiving Council funding for the 2023/24 financial year. To explore how we can best achieve value for money, both ecologically and socially for our community, Council is hosting a site meeting at 2:30pm on Sunday 15th October, to review and discuss the design proposal by Mr Nick Davies for this basin. We also want to discuss how our community can be involved with the project, from the planning and design phase, to working bees and planting days on site.
