Published 28th November 2024

On 20 November 2024, we proudly celebrated the opening of two new changeroom facilities, marking major milestones for our local sports community!

KARBEETHAN RESERVE CHANGEROOMS

Karbeethan Reserve Changeroom Opening

We unveiled the new changeroom facility at Karbeethan Reserve, home to the Gawler Eagles Football Club, Gawler Rangers Baseball Club Inc., and Gawler & Districts Softball Association. This facility is a key step in transforming Karbeethan Reserve into a vibrant sports hub for our community. The Karbeethan Reserve changerooms project was made possible through the support of Tony Piccolo MP, who delivered an election commitment via the State Government's Election Commitment Grants.

GAWLER CENTRAL SPORTING CLUB CHANGEROOMS

Gawler Central Sporting Club Changeroom Opening

We gathered at Gawler Oval to open the new changeroom facility for the Gawler Central Sporting Club. The Tigers now have a modern, welcoming space to support their growing football, netball, and cricket teams.

The Gawler Central Sporting Club Changeroom project was made possible through a generous grant from the State Government’s Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program, the Town of Gawler and a contribution from the Gawler Central Sporting Club.

A special thanks to Ausco Modular Pty Ltd, Council staff, and the club leaders for their hard work and collaboration. These changerooms represent a lasting investment in our town’s sporting future, fostering health, inclusion, and community spirit for generations to come.
