2027 Citizen of the Year Awards Nominations Now Open
Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make the Gawler community a better place? Now is the time to recognise their outstanding contribution.
Nominations are officially open for the 2027 Citizen of the Year Awards, providing an opportunity to celebrate the individuals, groups and organisations whose dedication, leadership and volunteer efforts help make Gawler a vibrant, connected and welcoming community.
The awards recognise those who have made a meaningful impact through community service, volunteering, sport, the arts, environmental initiatives, education, charitable work, events, or other activities that enrich the lives of local residents. Whether it's a long-time volunteer, an inspiring young leader, or a community group making a difference behind the scenes, every nomination helps shine a light on the people who strengthen our community.
Award recipients will be recognised as part of Gawler's Australia Day celebrations in January 2027.
