Assessments
The Gawler Aquatic Centre Learn to Swim Program has regular assessments for all participants within the program. All participants are assessed with their levels on a weekly basis, stating with our higher levels and working towards our lower levels.
Assessment weeks are as follows for specific levels:
- Week 3: Seal and Octopus
- Week 4: Otter and Penguin
- Week 5: Crab and Starfish
- Week 6: Pufferfish and Seahorse
- Week 7: Safety Week
- Week 8: Make Up Assessments
All assessment information will be added to the SwimDesk Parent Portal, with 24 hours of the assessment being completed.
Students will be assessed in week 8 if they miss their assessment week.
