Community Grants

Eligible groups and organisations are invited to apply for up to $1000 to assist with community focused projects and activities that directly benefit the Gawler community. Projects can include activity in the following areas:

  • Health
  • Recreation and Sport
  • Community Development
  • Arts and Culture
  • Environment

Council encourages applicants to consider and demonstrate a proactive approach to environmentally sustainable practices in all projects.

  • Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Service - Domestic Violence Wellbeing Room
  • North Vikings Inline Hockey Club - Barrier Upgrade
  • The Salvation Army Riverside Gawler - Indoor Playhouse and Play Equipment
  • Rotary Club of Gawler - Gawler Hospital TV Replacement
  • Tod Street Tennis Club - Defibrillator Instalment
  • Gawler Care and Share Group - Safe and Accessible Seating Project
  • Rotary Club of Gawler Light - Community Accessible AED

  • Gawler Braodcasting - Gawler Oral History Expansion and Activation
