Community Grants
The 2023/24 Community Grants Round is NOW OPEN ~ Applications close Friday 29 March
Council's Community Grants Program invites eligible groups, organisations and individuals to apply for up to $1,000 to assist with community focused projects and activities that directly benefit the Gawler community.
Initiatives may include, but are not limited to, activity in the following areas:
- Community events.
- Community focused programs and activities.
- Activity that encourages artistic expression.
- Activity that promotes cultural diversity.
- Awareness raising activities.
- Crime prevention and social justice initiatives.
- Community education, training, volunteering and engagement initiatives.
- Club/group operational expenses.
- Purchase of equipment or uniforms.
- Development or upgrade of facilities.
- Programs or services for marginalised groups.
- Initiatives that promote positive environmental outcomes and foster environmentally sustainable practices.
