Community Grants
The Town of Gawler Community Grants Program supports a range of projects, events and activities occurring within the Town.
Eligible groups and organisations are invited to apply for up to $1000 to assist with community focused projects and activities that directly benefit the Gawler community. Projects can include activity in the following areas:
- Health
- Recreation and Sport
- Community Development
- Arts and Culture
- Environment
The 2020/21 Community Grants recipients include:

- Gawler Girl Guides - Mobile Computer Trolley
- Lions Club of Gawler - Defibrillator
- Hope Chapel - Community Food Truck Launch Evanston
- Rotary Club of Gawler - Gawler Hospital TV Replacement
- Wheels in Motion Gawler - Safety While Learning to Drive
- Melissa Currinckx - Gawler and Barossa Kids Club (Autism Support Group)
- Gawler Town Band - Performance Marquee
- Gawler Art Society - Art For All
- Gawler Floral Art Group - Art Group Activities
- Meryl McDougall - Mega-Waves Art Exhibition (Community Mental Health Event)
Applications for the 2021/22 Community Grants round will open in the second half of 2021.
