The Council is seeking community feedback on a Draft Beautification Plan which has been developed for the Town of Gawler.  This is your chance to have your say on the way our Township is presented and assist to develop a vision on where and how we can improve this.

The Town of Gawler Draft Beautification Plan is intended to identify and prioritise future strategies for consideration to improve the overall appearance of the Gawler Township. These strategies include maintenance initiatives and capital works upgrades.

Critical to the implementation of this draft Beautification Plan is ongoing collaboration with State Government agencies responsible for the maintenance of land in their care and control that lies within the Town.

The purpose of the Beautification Plan is to:

• Enhance the appearance of the Township, particularly at key entries and strategic nodes.
• Reinforce a recognisable and distinct Township character.
• Improve the general cleanliness and tidiness of the Township.
• Support collaborative management and maintenance of entries though ongoing coordination with State Government.

The Draft Beautification Plan consultation process will commence on Wednesday 31 March 2021 to the close of business Wednesday 28 April 2021.  A simple survey has been developed to provide Council with your feedback which is your chance to help shape the improvements you would like to see in the place you live in.

Interested members of the community are encouraged to provide feedback on the Draft Beautification Plan, by the means of completing a short survey
