Water Wonders Program
Join Gawler Aquatic Centre for its first ever Water Wonders Program, commencing Tuesday 5 March and running to Tuesday 26 March 2024 from 9.30-10.30am.
Program Objectives
- A fun, first introduction to water play.
- Targeted at children from 6 months - 3 years of age, with minimal water confidence and experience.
- Self directed and independent learning , in a controlled environment.
- A stepping stone before instructor directed Learn to Swim Lessons.
- An opportunity for socialization for parents and children.
Please note this program, is not instructor operated and will be a self directed exploratory water program for children, with all equipment and water play toys provided by Gawler Aquatic Centre.
Cost
The first week of the program (Tuesday 5 March) is FREE. From there on there is a cost of $7.80 to attend the program.
Supervision Requirements
Gawler Aquatic Centre is a Watch Around Water accredited facility. Therefore, children attending this program will be required to have an adult parent of caregiver in the water within them, inline with our Watch Around Water policy.
