Gawler and Districts Youth Workers Network
The Gawler & District Youth Workers Network is a network of youth service providers, local government agencies, educational institutions and those interested in youth affairs within the Gawler area.
The purpose of the network is for:
- Opportunities to develop partnerships
- Information and resource sharing
- Professional development
- Discussion and coordination of funding
- Improving services, networking, cooperation, coordination and integration of youth agency programs
- Providing advocacy together with or on behalf of young people and to provide formal feedback on regional youth issues.
The Town of Gawler's Youth Development Officer takes a lead role to convene meetings and manage the distribution of agendas, minutes and other information as required.
