Taylor & Forgie Funerals is a family owned and operated business since 1855. At Taylor & Forgie Funerals they pride themselves on their commitment to helping families through difficult times. Gizelle and Mark Forgie entered into Taylor & Forgie Funerals on 13 July 1984 and in later years were joined by their daughter, Claire Forgie. Since their ownership Mark, Gizelle and Claire have further developed the business with the view that any improvements undertaken should benefit the surrounding communities.
In 2021 the business engaged Kyle Armstrong (Whale Tale) who has completed many other amazing murals in Gawler and across South Australia to create a mural at their Adelaide Road Funeral Chapel. The piece tells the history of the business and the family that made it all possible.
