Town of Gawler has prepared three draft Asset Management Plans for its Open Space, Stormwater and Transport assets for a 10-year period to ensure that the management of assets is financially sustainable.

These draft Asset Management Plans have been developed considering the factors such as Gawler growth, demographic change, urbanisation, legislative requirements and climate change.

To manage demands on assets within financial means, Asset Management Plans use a combination of managing and upgrading existing assets and creating new assets with the partnership of other government agencies and land developers.

The Asset Management Plans identify risk management approaches, changes to service levels and the funding to support longer term needs.

Council welcomes public feedback on each of these Asset Management Plan documents, which can be downloaded via the following links:
