Overview

The Town of Gawler was the first South Australian Council to declare a Climate Emergency in January 2019.

A Draft Climate Emergency Action Plan (CEAP) has been prepared by the Council’s CEAP Working Group which is made up of elected members, community members and staff.

Council is releasing the draft Plan for community engagement commencing Wednesday, 20 July 2022 until 5pm Wednesday, 10 August 2022.

Council is seeking your feedback by answering the following questions:

  1. What is your level of support for each of the goals and supporting actions?
  2. Do you have and additional feedback to provide on goals and actions?

We are also encouraging residents to participate in a survey, which will help inform the final CEAP to be endorsed by Council.
