Council is proposing to grant a 42 year Ground Lease (Initial term of 7 years within 5 rights of renewal of 7 years each), to the Gawler Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club Inc.

Overview

Council proposes to lease the Club portion of Allotment 101, Little Paxton Street, Willaston being the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 5285 Folio 463 and pursuant to Section 202(2) of the Local Government Act (SA) 1999, Council is required to undertake public consultation in accordance with its Public Consultation Policy. Council has previously adopted a Community Land Management Plan to provide for potential leasing of this site.


Interested persons are invited to make a written submission on the proposal, which will become public record and may form part of a report to Council. Please indicate in your submission if you wish your correspondence to remain confidential or anonymous for the purpose of the report to Council. A copy of the Council Report ‘Proposed lease Agreement – Gawler Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club – 13 Little Paxton Street’ – Item 11.1 tabled to Council on 27 October 2020 can be viewed on Council’s website.
