Overview

Overview

Town of Gawler has undertaken a comprehensive study of Edith Street, Short Street and Blanch Street in Gawler East following concerns raised by residents and property owners of these streets.  The primary concern was cut-through traffic while the secondary concern was speeding.

Community Engagement was initially conducted in June 2022, in which several options were presented to the community for their feedback.  Following this, Council staff refined the options and workshopped these at a Resident Meeting Workshop which occurred on 3 May 2023, with those more directly impacted (residents on Edith Street, Short Street and Blanch Street).

With this feedback, Town of Gawler are now engaging the wider community to seek feedback on Raised One Lane Perimeter Thresholds on Edith Street and Blanch Street.

Each member of the household may provide their feedback. If you require additional questionnaire forms, please email Council at council@gawler.sa.gov.au or collect additional questionnaire forms at the Gawler Administration Centre at 43 High Street in Gawler East.
