Overview

Edith 1

The Town of Gawler has undertaken a traffic study of Edith, Short and Blanch Streets in Gawler East following local community concerns.

The study recommended traffic interventions be implemented between Lyndoch Road and Murray Road to improve road safety outcomes in this locality.

Council has now commenced public consultation, from 8 June 2022, on the study recommendations and is seeking feedback from the community to inform the final outcome to be considered for future implementation.

A Community Open Forum is planned during the consultation period on 15 June 2022 at the Gawler Civic Centre in the Institute Hall between 6:30pm and 8:00pm.

A presentation will be made on the background and study outcomes, as well as provide for a Q & A with Council staff and consultants on this matter.

If you are interested in attending this Forum, please register through www.gawler.sa.gov.au/your-voice where you can also provide feedback on the proposed traffic interventions, as well as offer any other thoughts you may have on this matter.

A copy of the full traffic study report and other information is available through this webpage also, while a hard copy is available at the Town of Gawler Administration Centre (located at 43 High Street, Gawler East).
