Council is proposing a future Ground Lease to the Gawler Community Garden Committee for the purposes of the establishment of a community garden.

Overview

Council proposes to lease to the Gawler Community Garden Committee a portion of Allotment 27, Angle Vale Road, Evanston Gardens being the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 6077 Folio 541 pursuant to Section 202(2) of the Local Government Act (SA) 1999.

Council is required to undertake public consultation in accordance with its Public Consultation Policy. Council has previously adopted a Community Land Management Plan to provide for potential leasing of this site.

Interested persons are invited to make a written submission on the proposal, which will become public record and may form part of a report to Council. Please indicate in your submission if you wish your correspondence to remain confidential or anonymous for the purpose of the report to Council.
