The Town of Gawler is delivering on an election commitment which was made by the South Australian Government during the 2022 State Elections. What is being proposed, is a new playground and amenities at Reid Reserve.

The purpose is to improve Reid Reserve as a recreation area for local residents and the community.

As a local resident, we would love to hear what you would like to see at Reid Reserve!

Engagement is now open and will run between 20th February 2023 until 20th March 2023.

Attend a site meeting with Council Staff

We welcome residents to attend an upcoming site meeting with Council staff at Chignell Circuit, Reid Reserve on Saturday 25 February 2023 from 9am to 11am to discuss potential opportunities for the playground, hear concerns, answer questions, and to meet residents in person.

Council staff seeking feedback via Survey Monkey which will be disseminated through:

• Social Media posts;
• Through Council’s ‘Your Voice’ portal; and
• Through temporary informational signage installed onsite, with QR codes linking to the survey.
• Postcards to local residents of Reid with link to the online survey.
