The Gawler Community Garden Committee and the Gawler Environment Centre, with the support of Council, are working through the process of establishing a community garden. We would like to hear your ideas and feedback regarding the development of a future community garden.

Overview

The Gawler Community Garden Committee and the Gawler Environment Centre, with the support of Council, are working through the process of establishing a community garden. The proposed site for the garden is a section of community land located behind the Evanston Gardens Community Centre and Library on Angle Vale Road, Evanston Gardens (see site map below).

The Gawler Community Garden Committee and the Gawler Environment Centre are hosting a workshop and drop-in sessions on the following dates:

Drop-in Session 1
Wednesday 2 June
10.30am – 12.30pm
Gawler Civic Centre (Ground Floor, outside the Library)

Community Workshop
Tuesday 8 June
9.30am – 11.00am
Evanston Gardens Community Centre & Library

Drop-in Session 2
Thursday 24 June
10.30am – 12.30pm
Gawler Civic Centre (Ground Floor, outside the Library)

These sessions are an opportunity for the community to talk to members of the Gawler Community Garden Committee, discuss the draft concept plan and provide ideas and feedback regarding the development of a future community garden.

Written feedback must be received by 5pm on Monday 28 June 2021 and can be submitted via the following methods:
