Shopping Services
The Gawler Home Assist Program can arrange support to assist you with your shopping needs.
This can be offered either as an accompanied and unaccompanied shopping service for you.
An accompanied service would be when a Home Assist Contractor collects you and takes you to your preferred supermarket, where they will help you complete your own shopping. This type of service requires a social support referral from My Aged Care.
An unaccompanied shopping service is where a Home Assist Contractor will come to your home to collect a list of required items and cash and they will do your shopping for you. This type of service requires a domestic referral from My Aged Care.
In the case of an unexpected situation (eg. the need to isolate), please contact the Gawler Home Assist Program, as soon as possible and we will assist you to get the appropriate referral.
