The Environmental Management Plan provides a framework for Council to support environmental improvements through collaboration with community and business stakeholders.

The Plan outlines Council’s environmental vision, objectives and actions to guide practical and feasible environmental improvements regarding the five core focus areas of:

• Built Environment
• Resource Management
• Climate Change
• Riverine and Natural Environment
• Community Culture

Community engagement for the development of the Plan included a survey and community workshop that occurred in March 2016.
